Graduate Certificate in Economics

Course Code: C1001

The Graduate Certificate in Economics is designed to meet the needs of graduates from disciplines other than Economics who require specialised training and a qualification in economics.

The course can be completed in six months on a full-time basis (or one year part-time) by those with a background equivalent to that gained in the unit BUS161 Introduction to Economics. Students without this background are required to complete that unit prior to entering the course.

Exemption from Postgrad Course Regulations:In this course, where appropriate, undergraduate units (between 100- and 400-level) have been included to meet the learning outcomes for the entire course. Postgraduate students can expect to be part of a learning community with undergraduate students in these units. This course has been granted a specific exemption from the Postgraduate Coursework Regulations.
