There may be opportunities for Australian businesses to tender for work overseas, with the help of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). FTAs provide Australian businesses with better market access, faster economic growth and stronger employment growth.

The Australian Government has negotiated five FTAs. They are the:

• Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA)
• Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA)
• Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA)
• Australia-New Zealand Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement (ANZCERTA)
• Australia-Chile Free Trade Agreement.
